Thermes Lons-le-Saunier

THE THERMAL CENTRE OF LONS-LE-SAUNIER

The hydrotherapy centre of Lons-le-Saunier has existed ever since 1892. It is located at the heart of a 7-hectare park, the “Parc des Bains”, designed by the architect Henri Michel. He based his work on the classical thermal parks of the end of the 19th century. The charming architecture of the “Thermes Lédonia” is organised around a columned central porch. Adults as well as children enjoy coming to the Lédonia Thermal Centre for either health treatment or body care.

Thermes Lavey-les-Bains Terra Salina

LAVEY-LES-BAINS SPA TOWN, SWITZERLAND

The water in the Lavey-les-Bains spa town emanates from the hottest underground sources in Switzerland, between 62° C and 70° C, and it is extracted from great depths (down to 600 m) and close to the spa. The water is classified as sulphate sodium chloride water, with sulphur, lithium, fluoride, boric, and metasilicilic acid, and in smaller proportions, calcium hydro-carbonate, and a slightly elevated percentage of iodine. The water has therapeutic qualities for treating rheumatism, skin disorders, and locomotion systems.
